Simple Past Tense
- Did + ( sub ) + Verb-1 ?
- sub + Verb-2.
Sub + did not + verb-1.
I went to school yesterday.
Did you go to school yesterday ?
I did not go to school yesterday.
She cooked the curry last night.
Did she cook the curry last night ?
He worked last week.
They left last month.
Past continuous tense-
- was/were + ( sub ) + verb-ing ?
- sub + was/were + ( not ) + verb-ing.
When I got my home, my father was watching the TV.
While they played football, we were learning English.
I waved to Maung Maung but he wasn‟t looking at.
